The entrepreneurs gave each shark a custom party hat of their own, which got things going in the right direction.

Despite all the fun, things haven’t always been a party for Manuel and Grace. In 2017 Foam Party Hats only did $25,000 in sales.

However, that number tripled in 2018, and by 2019 the company had done $145,000 in sales.

Partially through 2020, Foam Party Hats has done $153,000 in sales, which is pretty good considering there were very few events due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Guest shark Daniel Lubetzsky showed interest in Foam Party Hats and made an offer of $100,000 for 30% equity. His offer was contingent on the fact that Manuel quit his full-time job as a mechanical engineer.

Mark Cuban disagreed with the offer and warned Manuel that it’d be a mistake to quit his job at this point.

Mark decided to team up with Lori Greiner to make the entrepreneurs another offer. Together, the two sharks offered $100,000 for 25% equity.

While Manuel and Grace had initially considered Daniel’s deal, in the end, they decided to work with Mark and Lori instead.

With two new sharks on the team, let’s take a look at our Foam Party Hats update to see how they’re doing!

We have great news to share in our Foam Party Hats update! Since airing on Shark Tank, Manuel and Grace have increased lifetime revenue from $385,000 to $1.9 million in sales.

Even better, they’re now in all Party City locations.

During our Foam Party Hats update research, we found that the investment from the sharks has also allowed Manuel and Grace to buy new equipment to make the hats in-house.

Being able to make their hats faster has brought in more purchase orders, and will help the company grow even more.

By visiting the Foam Party Hats website, you can get your very own foam fashion accessory! You can even see the process of how these fun party items are created.

Additionally, products are also available on Amazon.
