Victory Coffees Update | Shark Tank Season 8

Back in Shark Tank Season 8, the sharks passed on investing $250,000 for 20% equity for the subscription-based coffee service, Victory Coffees. However, it quickly turned into a successful company that the sharks wish they had invested in. This is more than enough of a reason to get curious about a Victory Coffees update.

Victory Coffees Update

  • Entrepreneur: Cade Courtley
  • Business: Subscription-based coffee service
  • Ask: $250,000 for 20% equity
  • Result: No Deal
  • Shark: None

Before we proceed with our Victory Coffees update, let’s talk about who Cade Courtley is and what the company is all about.

First off, Cade is a former Navy SEAL and former TV host, as well as the author of SEAL Survival Guide: A Navy Seal’s Secrets to Surviving Any Disaster. Heading into the Shark Tank, Cade wasn’t just someone who was looking for a way to cash in on America’s patriotism — he lived it.

The veteran-owned business had done $30,000 in sales at the time with the goal of creating a salesforce composed of veterans like Cade.

The sharks appeared to love how Victory Coffees tasted. However, Mark Cuban raised his concern about how small the business currently is. Mark pointed out that Cade lacked focus. Meanwhile, Robert Herjavec thought of Victory Coffees as more of a marketing company than a coffee company. After giving Cade their thoughts, the two sharks went out.

Lori Greiner also followed suit. She thought there were too many businesses in the same market already. Daymond John echoed Mark’s sentiment. He believed that Cade was in the tank too early, so he went out. The last to leave the deal was Kevin O’Leary, who thought that the business was not investable.

With all the sharks already out, Robert encouraged Cade to keep going as he stepped away from Shark Tank. Now, let’s take a look at our Victory Coffees update to find out how the company is doing.

Cade appears to have taken the shark’s words to heart. After appearing in Shark Tank, Victory Coffees reportedly did $1 million in sales in 2017 alone. Today, the veteran-owned/operated company continues to run like a well-oiled machine. All of the company’s social media pages are active with constant updates. In addition, the Victory Coffees website is thriving.

Because of Shark Tank, Cade continues to have interviews with various news media outlets. In these interviews, he speaks about his mission and his road to entrepreneurship often.
